Suraj Jayakumar

Suraj Jayakumar  (a.k.a. Katsuya) 

Birth name: J Suraj. Usually called Suraj Jayakumar and goes by the alias Katsuya on Internet (or Katsuya Kira). 

The creator of this awesome blog,  he is also an extremely awesome person who discovered the rare suraj's syndrome (Google it). 

Suraj's favorite TV show is 'how I met your mother', he is also a full blown otaku who from time to time falls for 2D girls. Besides this things there's really nothing much to say. 

He was the original creator of Rogue Guild, but the actual Rogue Guild was betrayed and disbanded. 

Favorite things cannot be mentioned cause they keep changing, but he does really love how I met your mother, Katawa Shoujo, hamlet , one piece, Fullmetal Alchemist and a few other things. His interests are very diverse from physics to alchemy to occult, and of course anime, music, literature, games ad infinitum.

Suraj's Syndrome

Suraj's Syndrome is a not yet medically recognized condition. It is mostly akin to Tetris Syndrome, But different in one aspect.

The Tetris effect (also known as Tetris Syndrome) occurs when people devote so much time and attention to a game that it begins to pattern their thoughts, mental images, and dreams. It takes its name from the video game Tetris.

Now, the Tetris Syndrome is only applicable to video games. Suffering from Tetris Syndrome, you will have dreams about the video games, you'll be seeing the particular game right before your eyes even while doing physical activities like walking, driving etc.

Much like Tetris Syndrome, The Suraj's Syndrome also causes the same mental symptoms.When a person addictively watches a TV serial, Anime etc he begins to see dreams about the anime or serial. And like the Tetris Syndrome, even while active and aware, they will continue see glimpses of the scenes from the show play out infront of their eyes. This is the Suraj's Syndrome.

Usually watching movies isn't supposed to cause Suraj's Syndrome, because they aren't long enough to cause a lasting effect. The main cause for the appearance of Suraj's Syndrome is the time spent watching the particular show. When you've spent a day or two completely watching one long series, it definitely will cause this Syndrome.
